Dass Creations

Dass Creations is tucked away at Door No. 30 on the 1st Cross in Rahamath Nagar. It is a fairly quiet street in the R.T. Nagar area, mostly filled with houses and small local shops. We started this little workshop because we simply liked the process of making things by hand. It is not a massive company with hundreds of people working in rows. Usually, it is just a small group of us focusing on whatever project is on the table that day. Our workspace is often cluttered with fabric rolls, thread, and different tools we have gathered over the years. We know exactly where every single item is kept, even if it looks a bit messy to someone walking in from outside. People from the neighborhood often stick their heads in to say hello or to see what we are currently working on. We do not have a big glowing sign or a fancy front window. The work we do is what brings people to our door. It is a nice way to earn a living, even when we have to stay late to finish a specific task. We usually have a small radio playing some old songs while we work. The morning light is usually the best for the detailed bits, so we try to get those done first. By late afternoon, the shop gets a little warm, but we just keep going until the work is finished.
