Darshan Plywood & Hardware

We are over on Killari Road in the Thalia area. The shop number is 139. If you know the street, you know it gets quite cramped with all the hardware and timber moving around. Darshan Plywood & Hardware is basically a place filled with stacks of wood and boxes of hinges and screws. It smells like sawdust most of the time. We’ve been at this 139 Killari Road spot for a long time. It’s a family thing, mostly. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. You just walk in and tell us what you’re looking for. Sometimes we have to dig through the back to find the right size of plywood. It’s a bit of a workout. The neighborhood is full of trade shops like ours. We know the guys next door and the tea stall down the lane. We don't spend money on big ads. People just know Darshan Plywood & Hardware is here because we’ve been around. Sometimes we forget to sweep the front until the afternoon because there’s too much going on. It’s just honest work. We deal with builders and people fixing up their own homes. We try to be helpful but we don’t use any of those scripts you hear in big stores. It’s just us behind the counter. Killari Road is busy, but it feels like home to us. It is what it is. We keep the doors open and do our best.
