Dariwal Elecricals

Over in Sadashivnagar, you’ll find Dariwal Elecricals at No.133. We are right opposite the Static Bank Mysore, on the 9th Main, 6th A Cross. It’s a good neighborhood, a bit more peaceful than some of the other parts of the city. We have been at this location for a good while now. Our shop is a single room that we have filled up with all sorts of things. Every bit of wall space has a shelf or a hook on it. We try to keep things in some kind of order, but it’s hard when you have so many different items in such a small space. The bank across the street is always busy, so there are always people walking past our door. We usually keep the front gate open during the day to let in some light and air. We don't have any air conditioning, so we just rely on a couple of ceiling fans that have been humming for years. We handle all the work ourselves. There’s no big corporate structure here, just us. We know a lot of the people who live on the 6th A Cross because they stop by to chat or ask for something. We don't spend much time on the computer or the internet. We just write everything down in a big ledger we keep on the main counter. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us and we like the routine of it. We just keep the doors open and do our work.
