D S C India Control & Machineries

Down here at 181 Bommasandra near Adajan Chowk, things are always a bit noisy. D S C India Control & Machineries is basically a big workshop filled with spare parts and heavy tools. It’s humid in Surat, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the machines so they don't get rusty. We handle a lot of different controls and mechanical bits that most people wouldn't even recognize. My desk is usually covered in drawings and oily rags. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just have to sit outside and wait for it to come back on. It’s a practical kind of life. We deal with factory owners and mechanics who know exactly what they want. There isn't much room for small talk when someone's machine is broken down and they’re losing money every hour. We do our best to find the right part or fix the issue as fast as we can. The floor is concrete and stays cool, which is a relief when the sun is really beating down outside. We've been at this address for a long time, and the locals around the chowk know us as the guys who are always covered in grease. It's not a glamorous office with AC and fancy chairs. It’s a place where work gets done with wrenches and screwdrivers. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the machinery keeps running and the orders get out.
