D Q Labs

We spend most of our time here at No.112/1 A in Malleswaram. It’s on the first floor, right on the 11th cross. If you know the area, it is just opposite the Haritha Apartments. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, but we’ve gotten used to them over the years. Malleswaram is one of those parts of Bangalore that still feels like the old city, even though things are changing fast. There is a lot of traffic outside, especially during the mornings when everyone is heading to work. You can hear the scooters and the buses from the 5th main road quite clearly. Inside, we just have our desks and some equipment set up for D Q Labs. It is not a very fancy place, but it works for what we need to do every day. We usually start around nine or ten. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs is where we end up taking our breaks because it’s convenient. People walk by all the time, and you get to know the faces of the neighbors after a while. Most of us have been working here for some time now, so the layout of the office feels like home. There are papers everywhere and sometimes we lose track of things, but we find them eventually. It’s just a regular workspace where we try to get things done without too much fuss. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. It’s just us.
