We are based out of Aruna Illam in Koramangala, which is a pretty nice area of Bangalore, even with all the traffic on the 9th A Main. D Line India is all about architectural hardware and design pieces, but we aren't some cold, glass-walled office. We work out of a building that feels more like a home, which makes the day-to-day feel a bit more relaxed. We have our samples laid out on tables and we spend a lot of time looking at finishes and handles. It’s a lot of talking to architects and builders who are looking for something that looks good but also lasts. We don't have a huge sales team; we just have a few people who really know their stuff and like helping people find the right fit for their projects. The atmosphere here is pretty quiet compared to the busy streets outside. Sometimes we have meetings over coffee on the balcony or just huddle around a desk to figure out a delivery schedule. We’ve been in the 4th C Block for a while now, and we like being part of this neighborhood. We don't do big advertising campaigns because most of our work comes from people who have heard about us through word of mouth. It’s a steady pace, and we prefer it that way. We just focus on the hardware and making sure it gets where it needs to go. We appreciate the quiet days here.
