Cypress Semiconductors

This place is actually part of the IARI campus in Pusa. We are located at the Division of SSAC. It’s a bit of a specific spot to find if you aren't familiar with the campus layout. Being associated with Dr. S. K. Singhal’s office, we stay quite busy. It’s a very academic and quiet environment around this part of town, which helps us focus on the technical side of things. New Delhi can be very loud and dusty, but Pusa has all those trees and open space. Semiconductor work is done in a small corner of the facility. It’s not a typical corporate office at all. Much of our time is spent on research and looking at technical details. Most of the people you see walking around are either staff or students. Customers don't really walk in off the street to buy things here. It’s more about the specific projects we are assigned to handle. The building is older, with high ceilings and that old-school government office feel that you find in Delhi. Setups and papers are scattered everywhere on our desks. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, but we make it work for us. No one is here to impress anyone with the office decor or modern art. We just want to get the data right. Following the rules of the campus, we mostly just keep to ourselves. It is a very functional way to spend the work day.
