Crystal Town

Our shop is located at Number 1 Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road, right on Mulberry Lane in Richmond Town. We are situated right next to Prathiba Jewellery House, which is a big landmark in this area. Richmond Town has a lot of old trees and a bit of a different feel than the rest of the city. Our place, Crystal Town, is a small spot where we keep all sorts of items on display. The building is older and has that classic Bangalore look to it. Inside, it is usually a bit cool because of the thick walls. We have wooden shelves that we built ourselves to hold the stock. It is not a modern showroom with fancy lights. We use regular bulbs and sometimes they flicker if the power is acting up. We spend our mornings cleaning the glass and arranging the items. It is a quiet street mostly, except for the occasional car or delivery van. We have a lot of regular people from the neighborhood who stop by just to say hello or look at what is new. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just like our little corner on Mulberry Lane. There is a small courtyard in the back where we sometimes sit to have our coffee. It is a comfortable place to work and we have gotten to know the rhythm of the street perfectly.
