Control Products is tucked away in the M.S. Industrial Complex in Peenya, Bangalore. We’re at No.2, B06, on the ground floor of Block No. 2. If you’ve ever been to Peenya, you know it’s one of the biggest industrial areas around, so it’s all about factories and workshops here. Our place is on the ground floor, which makes it easier for loading and unloading the heavy control equipment we handle. It’s a bit noisy with the neighboring units running their machines, but you get used to it after a while. The office part is just a small corner separated from the main workspace. We’ve got grease on the floor sometimes and tools scattered on the workbenches. It’s not a place for suits and ties. We’re mostly in our work clothes, figuring out circuits or fixing some piece of hardware. Bangalore traffic makes getting here a chore, but once we’re in the complex, we just focus on the job. We’ve been in this block for a good while now. The tea lady comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a second to breathe. We don't do much marketing or anything; most people find us because they need something fixed or built. We just do the work, pack it up, and send it out. It’s straightforward, manual, and technical work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. That's just how it is for us in Peenya.
