We are located at No. 7 Palace Cross Road. It’s a bit of a prestigious-sounding name, but the office is actually quite grounded. Palace Cross Road is a nice, wide street with a lot of old trees. Our building is an older one, and it has a lot of character that you don't find in new developments. We have a fair amount of space here, which is good because we tend to accumulate a lot of physical models and large-scale drawings. The rooms are high-ceilinged, so it doesn't feel stuffy even when the fans are the only thing moving the air. We have a routine that hasn't changed much over the years. We arrive, check the mail, and get to work on the various projects we have going. There isn't a lot of hierarchy here; we all just pitch in where needed. The kitchen is probably the most popular spot in the office because that’s where the tea is made. We spend a lot of time discussing designs and looking at site photos. It can get pretty intense when deadlines are close, but mostly it's just steady work. The neighborhood is quiet, so we don't get much noise from outside, which helps with focusing. It’s a solid place to spend the day. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one by the gate. We’ve been part of this street for a long time. That is pretty much how things go around here for us.
