We spend most of our time over here at No. 9 in Jeevan Bima Nagar. It's on 8th B Cross, just off 6th Main in HAL 3rd Stage. If you know the LIC Quarters, we are right across from there. It's a pretty busy spot but we like it. Most days we are busy with drawings and plants, trying to figure out how to make gardens work better for people. Being Claustra Landscape Architects means we look at a lot of dirt and trees. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but inside we just focus on the projects. It isn't a fancy office with big signs. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Getting here is easy if you follow the 6th Main road. People find us by looking for the LIC Quarters. We have sketches piled up on the desks. It gets a bit messy when we are in the middle of a design. Sometimes we go out for tea near the corner. It's just a small group of us here doing what we do. We don't do the corporate thing with suits. Most of the time we have mud on our boots. Bangalore weather keeps us on our toes with the rain. We just keep working away at the HAL 3rd Stage office. The 8th B Cross is a quiet enough street most mornings. We see the same people walking by. It feels like a neighborhood business should. We’ve got our drafting tables set up near the windows for the light. Jeevan Bima Nagar has a nice feel to it. It's not like the big glass towers you see elsewhere.
