Classic Aluminium Fab

If you head down Bhuleshwar Road 1222 in HRBR Layout, you’ll find Classic Aluminium Fab. It’s a noisy shop, mostly because of the saws cutting through metal all day long. We do a lot of windows, door frames, and those office partitions people like. Aluminium is a good material to work with because it doesn't rust, but it's sharp if you aren't careful. We've got a small crew here. We don't wear suits; we wear work clothes that usually have a bit of metal shavings stuck to them. Sometimes the measurements we get from people are a little off, so we have to go out and check things ourselves. It saves a lot of trouble later on. The shop isn't much to look at, but we have the machines we need. We don't have a secretary answering the phones, so if we're running a machine, we might miss a call and have to ring back later. It’s just how it goes when you’re actually doing the manual labor. We like being in this part of town. It’s easy for folks to find us. We don't do much advertising. Mostly, someone tells their neighbor about a window we fixed, and then that neighbor shows up at our door. We just try to cut the metal straight and get the glass to fit right. It’s a simple way to spend a day. We keep the scrap metal in the corner and try to keep the place organized as best as we can.
