Citizen Tyre Works

I run Citizen Tyre Works. You can find us in Bommanahalli on the Mangammanapalya Main Road. We are right across from the Salarpuria Complex, which is a big place everyone knows. I’ve been working with tyres for a long time. It’s a messy job and my hands are usually black from the rubber by the end of the day. I don’t mind it much. I opened this shop because cars and trucks always need help with their wheels. It’s a busy road, so we get a lot of people stopping by with punctures or needing a change. I have a few local guys who help me out when there's a line of cars. We don't have a fancy waiting room with coffee. People usually just stand around or sit on a bench while we work. I try to get things done quickly because I know people are in a hurry to get back on the road. I don't use any high-tech sales pitches. I just look at the tyre and tell you if it needs a patch or if it’s time for a new one. The air compressor is pretty loud and makes a racket most of the day. It’s just part of the atmosphere here. I’ve lived in this area most of my life and I like being part of the local community. We keep it simple.
