If you have ever been to Chickpet, you know how crowded it gets. We are tucked away at 106/2 Am Lane, right near the Bvk Iyengar Cross Road. Finding our place for the first time can be a bit tricky because the lanes are so narrow and everything looks similar. We have a lot of stock here. Mostly we are moving boxes in and out all day long. Sales is what we do, so there is always a lot of paperwork and people asking about prices. It is a loud part of town. You hear scooters and people shouting outside all the time. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of shelf space we have. Sometimes the piles of stock get a bit messy, but we know where everything is kept. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us handling the orders and making sure the customers get what they asked for. The weather can get quite stuffy in these narrow streets, especially in the summer. We usually have a fan going, but it doesn't do much. People come to us because we are in a central spot in the market. We don't put on any acts or try to look bigger than we are. It is just a local business in the heart of the trade area. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking our lists to make sure nothing was missed during the morning rush.
