Cherry Institute

You can find Cherry Institute right in Marathahalli, on the first floor of the building directly opposite the bus stop. It’s a very busy part of town, especially with the A2B restaurant right beside us and the Ayappa Temple nearby. There is always a lot of noise and activity outside, but once you come up the stairs, it’s a bit calmer. We set up here because Marathahalli is a place where everyone passes through, so it made sense for a training center. We have been here for a while, and the landmark of the temple helps people find us when they are coming for the first time. The office itself is pretty basic. We have the usual desks and computers you’d expect for the kind of work we do. We don't really go in for fancy decorations or anything. It’s more about having a place where people can sit down and actually learn something useful. We see a lot of different people coming through our doors every day, mostly looking to improve their job prospects. Being near the bus stop is a big plus because traffic in this part of Bangalore can be quite a headache if you’re driving. We just keep things moving, holding our classes and helping people out as best as we can. It’s a local business run by local people who know the area well and we enjoy being part of this neighborhood.
