Chemm Camera City

Chemm Camera City is situated inside Gem Plaza on Infantry Road. It’s a well-known spot in the city, and the building itself has been around for quite a while. We’re located in a part of the plaza that’s easy to get to once you walk in from the street. The shop is filled with cameras, lenses, and all the various accessories that go along with them. It’s a bit of a small space, so we have to be careful about how we stack the boxes and display the gear. Most of us who work here have a real interest in photography, so we spend a lot of time just talking about how the different models work. It’s not a high-pressure environment; we just show people what we have and let them take their time. Infantry Road can be quite busy with traffic and people, but Gem Plaza is a bit more relaxed once you're inside. We’ve seen a lot of regulars over the years who come back whenever they need a new piece of kit. We don't have any big corporate policies, we just try to be helpful and keep the shelves organized. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered when a new shipment arrives, but we eventually get everything put away. It’s just a local camera shop where we do our best to keep everything running smoothly for the people who stop by. We aren't experts in everything, but we know our cameras well enough.
