You can find us out on Chandapura Anekal Road. It’s a long stretch of road and we’re right along one of the busy parts where all the trucks and commuters pass by. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular building where we keep our stock and tools. We spend a lot of our day dealing with whatever walk-ins come by or handling orders that come over the phone. Being on this road means it gets pretty dusty, so we’re always cleaning off the counters. It’s a local operation, mostly just a few of us who know the area well. We’ve seen the road get wider and busier over time, but our daily routine stays mostly the same. We open up the shutters early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. There’s usually a thermos of tea somewhere near the back. We don’t have a website that we update or anything like that. Most people just know us from word of mouth or because they drive past us every day on their way to work. If you need something, you just stop by and ask. If we have it, we’ll get it for you. If not, we might know who does. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it’s worked for us so far. The rain sometimes leaks a bit near the side door, but we just put a bucket there and keep on.
