Ceramique

Ceramique is located at Kumara Park West Shital Estate 25/3. It’s a bit of a hidden spot if you aren't looking for it. We focus on tiles and ceramics, mostly for home projects. The shop is filled with rows of displays, but it’s a bit cramped. We have been here for some time now, and we've gotten to know the neighborhood well. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media manager. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for customers to stop by. Sometimes it’s quiet and we spend the time reorganizing the shelves or cleaning the glass on the displays. Other times, three people walk in at once and it gets a bit chaotic. We handle everything ourselves, from showing the samples to loading the trucks. The samples can be heavy, and our backs feel it by the end of the week. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we sell. A tile is a tile. We just tell you if it’s good for a kitchen or a bathroom. The tea stall next door is where we usually get our afternoon break. It’s a basic life and a basic business. We like the people who come in and we try to help them find something that fits their budget. The shop gets a bit hot in the afternoons but the breeze is nice.
