Our office is located at 33-1 Thyagaraja Layout on Banaswadi Road, near the M.S. Nagar Post office. It’s a bit of a quiet corner compared to the main roads, which helps when we're trying to concentrate. We focus on vernacular styles, so the office itself has a lot of traditional materials lying around. You’ll see bricks, wood samples, and plenty of sketches pinned to the walls. It isn't a corporate setup by any means. There’s usually a pot of tea sitting somewhere and books about old building techniques stacked up in the corners. We spend a lot of time talking about how to use local materials properly. Sometimes we’re out in the yard looking at how a certain stone looks in the sunlight. The team is small, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to drawing up sections. The commute to Banaswadi can be a bit of a trek for some of us, but we like the neighborhood. There’s a good local vibe here that fits with the kind of work we do. We don't have any shiny brochures or fancy displays. Most of what we show people are just the actual drawings we’re working on right then. It’s a practical place for people who actually care about how buildings are put together using what’s available nearby.
