We are based at 134 Infantry Road, right on the second floor of the M.B.C. building in room 203. Infantry Road is one of those places that never really stops, so there is always a background hum of traffic and people walking by. Our office is a bit of a sanctuary from that, though it’s pretty packed with electronics and testing gear. We do a lot of work with circuit boards and various electronic components. You will often see someone at a bench with a soldering iron or a multimeter, trying to figure out why a particular piece of equipment isn't behaving. The building is an older one, which gives it a bit of character, even if the stairs are a bit narrow and the hallways are a little dark. We’ve got a small, tight-knit group here. Most of us have been working with electronics since we were kids, so it’s more than just a job for us. There is no corporate manual or fancy mission statement here. We just have a lot of respect for the hardware and a desire to see things fixed properly. Sometimes we get a real puzzle of a repair that takes us a few days to crack, and that’s when the office gets really quiet as everyone focuses. We don't spend money on glossy brochures. Most of our clients come to us because they heard we could fix things others couldn't. It is a simple, honest way to spend the day, surrounded by the smell of solder and old electronics.
