We work out of the RMZ Nxt Campus, specifically in the Asia Pacific Shared Services Division on the 1A-3rd Floor in Whitefield. It’s a big office complex, and things move pretty fast around here. Even though we are part of a large name like Caterpillar, this specific office feels like its own world. We spend our days handling various back-end tasks and support services for the wider region. The floor is usually filled with the sound of typing and people talking on headsets. It’s a modern setup with a lot of glass and cubicles, which is a bit different from a small local shop, but we try to keep a down-to-earth vibe. We deal with a lot of paperwork, digital files, and coordination between different departments. Whitefield is always busy with traffic, so most of us are just glad to get into the air conditioning and get started on the day’s tasks. We don't really have a big public counter here; it's mostly internal support work. We have our routines, like grabbing coffee from the machine and having quick chats in the breakroom about the weekend or the commute. It’s a lot of screen time and sitting at desks, but the work is important for keeping the bigger gears of the company turning. We aren't doing the heavy lifting or the mechanical work here ourselves, but we make sure the systems that support those things are running as they should.
