You can find us at Apparel Leather Technics Private Limited on Sarjapur Road in Kaikondanahalli. We’re near the Bellandur Gate and the Carmelaram Post. It’s a busy part of Bangalore these days, with a lot of traffic and new buildings going up all the time. We’ve been here since before it got so crowded. We work with leather, making different kinds of apparel and technical items. It’s a craft that takes a lot of patience. Our workshop is full of the smell of leather and the sound of sewing machines. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s a productive one. We don't have a big fancy showroom. We mostly focus on getting the orders ready for our clients. The people working here have a lot of experience with leather, which isn't always an easy material to handle. We make sure the stitching is strong and the material is good. We don’t use any corporate jargon or have long-winded meetings about our goals. We just look at the schedule and get to work. Sometimes the traffic near Bellandur Gate makes it hard for deliveries to arrive on time, but we manage. We’re a small team and we like it that way. We just want to keep making good leather products like we’ve been doing for years. It’s a straightforward business and we take it one day at a time.
