Cake Walk

Cake Walk is our bakery located at 297 Tushar Devalperse in Indira Nagar. Indira Nagar is a place that never seems to stop, but inside our shop, things are a bit more focused on the task at hand. We spend our hours measuring out ingredients and keeping an eye on the ovens. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of washing up to do and the floor usually has a layer of flour on it by noon. We’ve been at this address for a while. Tushar Devalperse can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't familiar with the side streets here. We make a lot of cakes for people’s special days, which can be a bit stressful. If a cake doesn't turn out quite right, we have to scramble to fix it or start over. We aren't part of some big chain with fancy offices. It’s just our kitchen and the front counter where we talk to customers. Sometimes the traffic in Indira Nagar makes it hard for people to pick up their orders on time, so we end up staying open a bit later than planned. We’ve seen many other shops come and go around number 297, but we’re still here doing our thing. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours on our feet, but it’s the life we’ve built for ourselves here. We just try to get the baking done and keep the shop running as best we can.
