C R Sanjay & Co is located inside Samhita Apartments, specifically at Basavanagudi 4th Cross, 2nd Stage. It’s mostly a residential area around here, so it stays quite peaceful and quiet compared to the big main roads. We actually like the quiet because it helps us concentrate on the complicated audit work and the various tax filings we handle for our clients. The office is basically a converted space within the apartment complex, so it feels a lot more like a home than a stiff corporate building. We even have a small balcony where we take our tea breaks and watch the street below. There are three or four of us usually working at any given time, sitting at our desks with calculators and ledgers. We’ve been based in Basavanagudi for many years now. The neighbors all know us as the people who are always carrying around big stacks of folders and envelopes. We don't really do much marketing or advertising at all. Usually, someone just knocks on the door because a friend or a cousin told them we were located here. We spend a lot of our time on the computers, checking long columns of numbers to make sure everything balances out. Sometimes the internet or the software acts up and we just have to sit and wait for it to load while we chat about the local news. It’s a relaxed atmosphere but we always make sure the job gets finished on time. We aren’t trying to be the biggest or flashiest firm in the city. We just want to do honest work for the people who come to us. The 4th Cross is a nice spot to be.
