We have our little shop at Door No- 203 on SC Road in Sheshadripuram. It has been our base for a long time now. The street is always loud with traffic and people walking by to the railway station. Inside, it is a bit different. We have various art supplies and unfinished projects scattered around the place. It is mostly just me and a helper who manage everything day to day. We don't have any fancy displays or a big storefront with glass windows. It is just a practical workspace where we do our painting and creative work. Sometimes the floor gets covered in wood shavings or paint spills, but we clean it up when we can. People in the neighborhood know us as the place to go when they need something handmade or a sign painted for their own shop. We don't spend money on ads or anything like that. Word usually travels from one person to another. It's a small setup, and the ceiling is a bit low, but it works for what we need to do. We usually start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. The tea stall at the corner is where we spend our breaks talking to the other shop owners. It is a simple life and we just focus on the work in front of us. If we are busy, the door might be half-closed, but you can always knock and come in. We try to keep things moving even when supplies are slow to arrive.
