Our office is over on 9th Main in the 5th Block of Jayanagar. It is pretty easy to find since we are right near the BSNL telephone exchange. It is a bit of a coincidence being so close to them since we deal with messaging all day long. The space is not very big, just some desks and computers and a lot of cables running along the floor. We spend most of our time staring at screens, making sure all the messages go out to the right people without any delays. Jayanagar is a nice area with a lot of trees, but we mostly just see the inside of these four walls during the day. Sometimes the internet acts up or a server gets moody, and then things get a little hectic around here. We do not really do big meetings or have a receptionist waiting at the door. If someone comes in, one of us just looks up from our work to see what is needed. It is mostly about keeping the systems running without too many technical glitches. We have been at this for a bit now, and the routine is pretty well set. We handle a lot of data, so we have to be quite careful with how we manage everything. Usually, it is just quiet work punctuated by the sound of typing. It is not a glamorous setup, but it is where we get things done.
