Our little spot is tucked away behind Andhra Bank on 26th Main Road in HSR Layout Sector 2. Buildness.com is the name on the door at No. 1634. We’re on the 22nd Cross, which can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't looking closely. We spend most of our time in front of screens, dealing with the building and construction world. It’s a lot of data and talking to people about their homes. HSR Layout is full of startups, and we are just one of many, but we don't do the whole "change the world" talk. We just want to make the process of building things a bit less of a mess for people. The office is often a bit cluttered with electronics and half-empty tea cups. We’re a small group, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One day it’s technical stuff, the next it’s just sorting out some logistics. It’s a practical way to work. Being behind the bank makes it easy to give directions at least. We’ve seen this neighborhood grow so fast over the last few years. It’s always buzzing with activity outside. We just keep our heads down and keep the website running. No fancy reception desk or anything like that. Just us in a room with some good internet and a lot of work to do. It’s a bit noisy when the traffic picks up, but we like being here.
