Bombay Dyeing Bangalore

We are right here on the 60 Feet Road in Koramangala, specifically at No 225, Cross 5 in Block 6. It gets pretty busy outside most days with all the traffic and people moving around. Our shop is where we keep all the Bombay Dyeing stuff, mostly bedsheets, towels, and various linens for the house. People stop by when they’re moving into a new flat nearby or just need a fresh set of pillowcases for their room. It’s not a huge place, but we try to keep the shelves stocked so you can see the different patterns. Most mornings start with us checking the inventory and dusting the plastic covers on the blankets. The light comes in quite nicely through the front door in the late afternoon. We have been in this part of Bangalore for a while now, seeing the neighborhood change as more shops open up around us. It is mostly a quiet routine of helping someone pick a color or finding the right size for a double bed. Sometimes the delivery trucks take a while to find the exact cross because of the one-ways, but we get by. We don’t have fancy displays, just stacks of fabric and a counter. It is a straightforward business, really. We open up, tidy the stacks, and wait for the neighborhood folks to drop in. It is nice being in Koramangala because people know where we are.
