B.M.T Shinde Opticals & Contact Lens Clinic

If you’re walking down 16th Main in BTM Layout 2nd Stage, you probably know the McDonald's. We are right opposite that, at Old No 933/5. B.M.T Shinde Opticals has been around for some time now. People come in when they can’t see the TV clearly or when their old frames snap. We have a lot of different glasses on the shelves. It’s not just about selling frames though, we do the whole contact lens thing too. Some people find lenses tricky to put in, so we help them out. The shop isn't massive but we fit a lot in. It gets busy on weekends because that's when everyone has time to shop. Being across from the McDonald’s helps people find us easily. We see students, office workers from the nearby tech parks, and families. Sometimes people just pop in because their nose pads fell off. We handle those little repairs too. The 16th Main Road is always full of cars and bikes, so it’s a lively place to work. We try to keep the displays organized so people can see the different styles. It’s just a regular shop where we try to help folks see a bit better. We don’t have fancy slogans. We just check eyes and make sure the lenses are right. It’s a steady kind of business. We’ve seen many types of eyes over the years and every day is a bit different depending on who walks through the door.
