Black & Decker India Pvt. Limited is located at No. 28, "Akemps", which is on 3rd Main, 1st Cross in Ashwini Layout. This is right by the Koramangala Intermediate Ring Road. If you know Bangalore, you know the traffic around the Ring Road can be a nightmare. But once you turn into Ashwini Layout, it gets much quieter. Our building, Akemps, is a bit easier to find than some of the others around here. We work with tools and hardware, so you’ll often see boxes of drills or saws being moved around. The office isn't some high-tech lounge; it’s a place where we get stuff done. We have a lot of shelving and a few meeting rooms that always seem to be occupied. The staff here is a mix of people who have been around since the start and some newer faces. We usually grab coffee from the machine and complain about the commute. The area is great because there are so many places to eat nearby, even if the walk is a bit dusty. We spend our days coordinating with different regions and making sure the inventory is where it needs to be. It’s a busy environment but we try to keep it relaxed. It feels like a standard workplace where people are just focused on their tasks. We’ve become a part of the local landscape in Koramangala over the years.
