Down in Banashankari 3rd Stage, things are always moving fast with all the new buildings going up. We have our main office and a small workshop at Mamunayak Pole on Tankshala Road, number 284. As an elevator company, Bhoomi Elavators India Pvt Ltd is usually full of the sound of metal parts and the smell of industrial grease. We have steel cables and control panels sitting around the work area most of the time. Our team of technicians is usually out at different sites in the city, fixing old lifts or putting in new ones. When we are back at the office on Tankshala Road, we spend our time looking at technical diagrams or talking to building owners about their maintenance needs. The floors stay a bit dirty from the heavy boots and the equipment we move back and forth. It is a noisy and greasy job, but it's what we do to make sure the elevators in these tall buildings keep running safely. We are just a small group of people who understand how the motors and cables work. There aren't any fancy decorations in our workspace, just some old tool racks and a few wooden benches. Sometimes we get calls in the middle of the night if a lift gets stuck somewhere, and we have to head out. Our place is at 284 Mamunayak Pole, and it stays busy every day.
