Bharat Electronics Ltd.

I work at Bharat Electronics Ltd. specifically in the Corporate Communication department. Our office is located right off the Outer Ring Road in Nagavara, which anyone in Bangalore knows is a very busy stretch of road. You can see the building from a distance, and it’s a big part of the landscape around here. My day usually involves a lot of coordinating between different departments and making sure everyone knows what’s going on with our projects. It’s a large organization, so things can take a bit of time to move through the proper channels, but that’s just how it is in a place of this size. The Nagavara area has changed so much since I started; there are new buildings popping up every month. Being near the Outer Ring Road means we get to see the city grow right outside our windows, even if the commute is a bit of a struggle. We handle the public side of things, making sure information gets out correctly. We don’t use a lot of fancy words or try to make things sound better than they are. It’s mostly technical stuff, engineering, and manufacturing. We’re just a bunch of people working on electronics and communication systems that the country needs. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we take it one day at a time. The office is usually humming with activity, especially when a big project is finishing up.
