Peenya Industrial Area is a loud, busy place, and we are right in the middle of it at GIDC Estate T 4. Bharat Commercial Corporation is more of a warehouse and office than a shop. We deal with a lot of industrial supplies and hardware that people in the factories nearby need to keep their machines running. It’s a gritty environment with lots of trucks coming and going, and the air always smells a bit like oil and metal. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anyone to greet you at the door. You usually just walk in and find one of us near the back sorting through the crates. The work is mostly about logistics and making sure we have the right parts when a local foreman calls us in a hurry. We’ve been in this spot for years, and we’ve seen the estate change as different companies move in and out. It’s not the kind of place where you come to browse; people usually know exactly what they want before they even arrive. We spend our days checking manifests and loading up small tempos. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but that’s just how it is in Peenya. We don't try to be anything we're not. We just provide the supplies that help other businesses do their jobs, and that’s enough for us. It keeps us out of trouble and the bills paid.
