Benaka Screen

If you head over to Vasanth Nagar, you’ll find Benaka Screen at 16/36. We are near the Trikampura Patiya area, quite close to Mount Carmel College. Because the college is nearby, there are always students walking past or stopping to ask questions. Our shop is a bit small and usually smells like ink and cleaning fluids. We do a lot of screen work here, mostly stuff for local people or the students who need something for their classes. It’s a busy little corner. We have frames leaning against the walls and screens drying in the back. The space is a bit cramped, especially when we have a big project going on, but we manage. Trikampura Patiya is a lively place, and Vasanth Nagar has its own rhythm. We’ve got a few old tables where we do the manual work. It’s not a high-tech setup, just the basic stuff that works. I’ve been working here for a while and the ink under my nails is basically permanent now. We don’t really bother with fancy advertising. People just see the work we do and come back. Sometimes it’s quiet, and we just sit and watch the traffic go by toward the college. Other times, we are rushing to finish things before the day ends. It’s a simple life, just doing what we know how to do. The neighborhood keeps us busy enough and we like the people around here.
