Getting out to Majuqiao Town every morning takes some time. Our place is in the Liandong Uvalley Industrial Area, specifically in the North Area at No.4. It is a big industrial zone in the Tongzhou District of Beijing. There are a lot of trucks moving in and out all day long. It gets pretty loud with all the machinery and transport going on around here. We spend most of our time inside the facility dealing with trade and logistics. It’s not the most scenic part of the city but it is where the real work happens. The warehouse gets quite cold in the winter months. We usually have a small heater running in the office corner to keep the chill off our hands. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby stall or brought from home in a container. We have a lot of regular drivers who know exactly where to pull in. The industrial park is laid out in a grid so once you find the right gate it isn't too hard to navigate. We keep the inventory moving as fast as we can. It’s a busy environment and there is always something that needs to be packed or checked. Some of the guys have been working here since the park first opened up. We just do our jobs and try to get everything shipped out on time. It is honest work and the team here is solid, we just get on with it.
