Beijing Bites

This Beijing Bites branch is over on the 10th Main in Jeevan Bhima Nagar. We are at Hal 3rd stage, specifically number 473 in the Thippasandra Area. It can be a bit of a maze to find us if you are not used to these side roads. We get a lot of families from the neighborhood coming in on the weekends for a meal. The kitchen is fairly small, so we have to stay organized or things get messy fast. Sometimes when the supply truck arrives, we run out of space to put everything. We have a few guys on bikes who handle all the deliveries nearby and they are always in a rush to get back. The walls could probably use some new paint soon, but we have been too busy to get to it. We have some plants near the front door, but they do not always look very happy because of the lack of light. It is a noisy street with all the honking and the other shops nearby. You just walk in and pick whatever table is open. The menu is printed on thick paper that is starting to get a bit wrinkled at the edges. Most of our staff knows the neighbors by their names. It feels like a small town spot even though we are in a big city. We just stay open and keep the stove going for whoever walks in.
