Beijing Bites

Beijing Bites is located at Whitefield Epip Industrial Area, right at number 120. This part of town is very busy with office workers and big buildings everywhere. Every morning we get here early to start cutting up vegetables and getting the kitchen ready. You can usually smell the ginger and garlic from the parking lot before you even walk inside. We have been in this spot for a while now and we see the same people coming in every Monday through Friday. The weekends are much quieter since most of the offices are closed and the area clears out. We have a small team of cooks who have worked together for a long time. They know how to move around the small kitchen without bumping into each other too much. The chairs are not the newest ones you will find, but they work fine for a quick lunch. We keep the napkins in big piles on the counter because people always need them. The phone rings a lot with takeout orders, especially around noon. We do not have a fancy website or a PR person to write things for us. It is just a regular kitchen in an industrial zone. We try to keep our prices fair for the people working nearby. The sun hits the front windows pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually keep the blinds pulled down.
