Beacon

You can find us over at Malik’s Embassy on the second floor. It is tucked away on 9th Union Street in B-Block. It is one of those buildings that feels solid and a bit old-fashioned. We share the floor with a few other offices, so there is always a bit of chatter in the hallways. Our space is pretty basic. We have our desks, some chairs for visitors, and a lot of files. It is not the kind of place with a fancy lobby or someone in a suit greeting you at the door. We just open up in the morning and get to work. The street outside can get a bit tight with cars and bikes, so parking is always a bit of a puzzle for us. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through emails. It is just how the day goes here. Sometimes we all go out for a quick lunch at one of the small shops nearby just to get some air and stretch our legs. We have been at this address for a while and we know the quirks of the building, like which window lets in too much sun in the afternoon. We are not trying to be anything huge. We are just a group of people doing our thing in this corner of the city. It is a steady pace and we like it that way. No big drama, just our daily tasks and occasional coffee breaks.
