Battu Eye Center

Battu Eye Center is located right on Bellary Road in Sahakara Nagar. If you are driving by, you just have to look for the Bata showroom because we are directly above it at No 11 and 12. It’s a very easy spot to find, though parking on the main road can be a bit of a gamble sometimes. We spend the whole day looking at eyes, testing vision, and helping people pick out frames if they need glasses. The office isn't overly decorated; it’s mostly just the testing equipment and the chairs for people waiting their turn. Since we are on a main road like Bellary Road, it’s never really quiet here. You can hear the buses and bikes zooming past all day long. We get a lot of elderly people coming in for cataract checks and kids who are having trouble seeing the board at school. It’s a steady stream of folks from Sahakara Nagar and the nearby areas. The stairs up to the center are right there next to the shop. We try to keep things moving so people aren't sitting around for hours, but eye exams can take a while if you're being thorough. It's just a regular neighborhood eye clinic where we know the local faces. We open up in the morning and stay until the last patient is seen in the evening, just a standard day for us here. The Bata showroom downstairs is always our best reference for directions.
