Suvarna Garments

Suvarna Garments is over in Basaveshwaranagar, tucked inside the Sowjanya Complex at No. 643/B on 8th Main. We’ve been operating out of 3rd Stage 2nd Block for a good few years now. It’s mostly just a lot of fabric and sewing machines around here. We spend our days cutting cloth and making sure the stitching is right. The shop isn't very large, so things tend to pile up near the back door if we have a big order. We started out small and stayed that way because it's easier to keep track of everything. You can find us pretty easily if you know the landmark. Most people in the area know the building. We handle a lot of local repairs and making clothes for people who live around the block. It gets pretty loud with the machines running all at once, especially in the mornings. We usually have tea around eleven and then get back to it. The lighting isn't the greatest, but we have some big lamps over the worktables. It's just honest work. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Just some racks and a counter where we talk to people. Sometimes we run out of a specific thread color and have to go fetch more, which slows things down a bit. But we get it done. It’s just us here at the complex, doing what we know how to do. We don't really have a big staff, just us working hard.
