We operate out of Mahalaxmi Puram, specifically at 653 on the 10th Cross, West of Chord Road. It’s a solid, quiet part of the neighborhood that suits the way we work. At Basanth Consultants, we keep things pretty basic. Our office has the usual stuff—desks, some filing cabinets, and a few chairs for visitors. We’ve been here long enough that the commute has become second nature to everyone on the team. Most of our day is spent on the phone or going through documents that pile up on the corners of our desks. We don't have a fancy waiting room or a receptionist to greet you; you just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the birds in the trees outside when the traffic dies down for a bit. We appreciate the stability of being in this location for so long. Sometimes we have to move boxes around to find a specific file, but we usually know where everything is. The lighting isn't the best in the back room, but it’s a good spot for getting some quiet work done. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders because we’re usually too busy with the work itself. It’s a practical, no-nonsense space for people who just want to get things sorted out. There’s an old wall clock that ticks a bit too loudly, but we stopped noticing it years ago.
