Basant Betons

Basant Betons is located in the Farah Winsford building on Infantry Road, at 2 A 133. We are right in the middle of a lot of other businesses, which makes the days go by pretty fast. Most of what we do involves concrete products, so there is a lot of talk about mix designs and curing times. Our office isn't very large, but it is where all the planning happens for the deliveries going out to construction sites. We spend a lot of time on the phone with site engineers and truck drivers. Dealing with concrete means things have to move on a schedule, or everything gets messed up. It can be a bit stressful when the traffic is bad and the trucks are delayed, but that is part of the job. We don't have any flashy slogans; we just try to get the blocks and pipes where they need to go. The walls are covered in charts and maps of the city so we can keep track of where our stuff is heading. It’s a practical business run by people who have been in the trade for a long time. We aren't trying to be something we aren't. We just focus on the orders and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the month. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but we’re used to it.
