L Marks House

We’re up on the 7th floor of Barton Center, which is right on M.G. Road. It’s unit 706. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s always crowded and there’s always something happening. Being on the 7th floor gives us a bit of a view, though we’re usually too busy to look out the window much. L Marks House isn’t a huge operation. We have a modest office space where we handle all our business. It’s a bit different from the street level noise down there. We spend most of our time on the phones or on our computers. It’s the kind of office where there’s always a stack of papers that needs sorting. We don't have a receptionist in a fancy uniform. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from our desk. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now and we know the other tenants. It’s a good community of different businesses. We don't go in for big marketing speeches or trying to sound like a giant firm. We’re just L Marks House, doing our daily tasks and helping out the people who call us. It’s a lot of coordinating and making sure everything is in the right place. Sometimes the elevators in Barton Center take forever, but that’s just part of working here. We just take it as it comes.
