Asha Traders

Our place is tucked away at No. 18/1 in Lakshmipura Village, right over by the Sakalavara Post. If you know the area, we are basically behind the AMC College on Bannerghatta Road. It is a bit of a drive to get out here but it is quieter than being right in the middle of the city. We started Asha Traders just to handle the local demand for the things we trade in. Most days start with a cup of tea and a look at the ledger to see what needs to be delivered. The building is not very big, but it fits everything we need for now. We have some shelves that are starting to sag a bit under the weight of the stock, so we probably need to fix those soon. The road out front can get dusty when the wind picks up, especially in the dry season. We spend a lot of time moving bags around and making sure the quality is okay before anything goes out. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. Sometimes the college kids walk past and it reminds us how fast the neighborhood is changing. We just keep doing our thing, day in and day out. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s ours and we know how to run it. We usually finish the last of the loading as the sun starts to go down.
