Rangeela Ceramics Hardware is situated at 204 Panduranganagar. We are right opposite the HSBC on Bannerghatta Main Road, close to the Arekere Gate. It’s a very busy part of the city, and the traffic on the main road can be a real headache sometimes. Our shop is filled with all sorts of things, from tiles and sinks to nuts, bolts, and tools. It’s a bit of a maze inside because we try to fit as much stock as possible into the space. There is dust on everything, which is just part of the hardware business. We spend our days helping people find the right size of pipe or the best-looking tiles for their bathrooms. Sometimes customers come in with a broken part and we have to rummage through the back bins to find a match. The floor is made of heavy-duty stone because we drop heavy things quite often. We have a small desk tucked in the corner where we keep the ledger and the phone. It’s not a quiet place. There is always the sound of hammers or people talking loudly over the traffic noise. We’ve been in Panduranganagar for some time now and know most of the regular contractors who stop by. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just open up early, help the customers who walk in, and close up when the day is done. It is hard work but it pays the bills.
