Bangalore Tyres

Bangalore Tyres is located at 25 4 on South End Road, right near the Anjaneya Temple Street in the Highway Building. It’s a very recognizable spot because of the temple nearby and the fact that South End Road is such a major path for people in this part of the city. We have stacks of tyres everywhere, which is to be expected. The smell of new and old rubber is pretty strong when you walk in. We spend the whole day using the jacks and the wrenches, changing out old worn-down tyres for new ones. It’s a lot of crouching down on the pavement and checking air pressures. The Highway Building itself is an older structure, and we fit right in with the other shops there. We don't have any high-end showroom feel. It’s a workshop, plain and simple. People pull up, we take a look at their wheels, and we get to it. Sometimes it’s just a quick puncture fix, and other times someone needs a whole new set. Being so close to the Anjaneya Temple means there are always people around, and the bells from the temple sometimes mix in with the sound of our pneumatic tools. We just keep the place open and stay ready for whatever vehicle rolls in. It’s just how we have been doing things for years in this specific corner of Bangalore. We don't need any big signs to tell people what we do, the tyres stacked up outside say it all for us.
