Bangalore Transmissions

Bangalore Transmissions is over in Peenya Industrial Area. Specifically, we are at 5A on the 8th Main in the 1st Stage of SLV Industrial Estate. It is noisy. Trucks move in and out all day long. We work on gears and transmission parts mostly. The floor is usually a bit oily and there’s always a machine running somewhere. We don't spend money on fancy offices. Most of the space is taken up by tools and parts. It gets hot under the metal roof in the afternoon. We have a few guys who have been here for years. They know their way around the machinery. It’s hard work, manual mostly. We don’t talk much, just get the jobs done. If you come looking for us, look for the SLV Industrial Estate sign. The 1st Stage can be confusing with all the turns, but we are right there on the 8th Main. We fix things and put them back together. That’s about it. We’ve been in Peenya for a long time because it is where the work is. Some days the power goes out and we just sit outside. Then we go back to it. It’s not a glamorous job, but it pays the bills. We don't have a website. Just the shop and the work. It’s a practical life. We keep the machines turning as long as there is work to do. There is always grease on our hands, but we are used to it by now.
