We’re over in Vidyaranyapura, at Shop No. 5 in Dodda Bommasandra. It’s near the Indian Oil Petrol Bunk, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find the place. Bangalore Photo Services is a small shop. We handle a lot of different things related to cameras and photos. It’s usually just one or two of us here at a time. The shelves are full of random stuff we’ve collected over the years. We don't really have a polished showroom or anything. It’s more of a workspace where things get fixed or printed. Sometimes the shop feels a bit dusty, but we try to keep the gear clean. We get all sorts of people walking in, from students to older folks who found an old camera in their attic. We aren't doing anything fancy. We just know how the equipment works and we try to get things done without too much fuss. Being near the petrol bunk means it’s always busy outside. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. Word of mouth usually brings people in. It’s a quiet life, mostly. We just enjoy the work and the fact that we can help people keep their memories. It’s not a complicated business, just a local shop in a busy part of town. We usually close up when the sun goes down and start again the next day.
