I'm sitting here in our office on Reservoir Street, and it’s a typical afternoon in Basavanagudi. You can hear the traffic piling up near Netekalappa Circle from the window. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, right at number 163. The building is older, and the hallways have that specific smell of a lab that you never really get rid of. It’s mostly scientists and lab techs walking around in white coats, looking at charts or checking on the equipment. We spend a lot of time on research and making sure the batches are done correctly. Sometimes the paperwork feels like it never ends, especially with all the regulations we have to follow. It’s a quiet place for the most part, though things get hectic when a big shipment is going out. We usually grab lunch from one of the small places nearby. The area has changed a lot since we started, with more shops popping up everywhere, but our lab stays pretty much the same. We don’t have any big flashy signs or anything like that. Just a small team trying to stay on top of the daily tasks. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going constantly. It’s just how we work here, day in and day out, focused on the chemistry and the testing.
