Bangalore Pet Clinic

Over on 70 3rd Cross in P&T Layout, things get pretty noisy. That’s because our clinic on Horamavu Main Road is usually full of barking dogs and the occasional nervous cat. It’s not the biggest space, but we make it work for all the animals that come through the door. There’s always a bit of fur on the floor no matter how much we sweep. The smell of disinfectant is quite strong, which is probably for the best. We have a small exam table that has seen a lot of wagging tails and a few scratches over the years. The neighborhood is growing fast, so we see a lot of new faces and new pets every week. Some people bring in stray dogs they’ve found, and others bring in their fancy pedigree cats. It’s a mix. The staff here mostly wears scrubs that are covered in paw prints by the end of the shift. We keep the treats in a jar on the counter, which usually helps calm the bigger dogs down. It’s a bit chaotic sometimes when three dogs are in the waiting area at once, but we manage. It feels like a real part of the community here. We don't have a fancy website or anything; people just know where we are. Most of the time, the local kids stop by just to peek at the puppies in the waiting room.
